Immaculee Ilibagiza’s story is one of the most incredible stories of forgiveness.
In 1994, she was forced to hide in a 3 ft. by 4 ft. bathroom for three months with six other women while members of the Rwandan Hutu tribe massacred nearly one million men and women of the rival Tutsi tribe. Immaculee and the other women had to take turns sitting down in the cramped room, nearly starving to death as the weeks and months wore on.
